This session will address current trends in the sale and purchase of dealerships including deal terms, private vs. public company purchasers and manufacturer responses to include rights of first refusal. Attendees will learn:
• Important considerations in advising clients in the purchase or sale of a dealership
• Trends in various categories of purchasers of dealerships, including private, public and equity fund purchasers
• Under which circumstances a manufacturer is permitted to exercise a right of first refusal
