Description

This session will provide an attorney’s perspective on the cross-examination of forensic and valuation experts. It will focus on the “rules of cross-examination” for attorneys to help guide the preparation of expert witnesses facing cross examination.

The objectives of the session are to:
• Assist prospective witnesses in understanding the goals and methods of cross-examination
• Familiarize the prospective witness with the “rules of cross-examination” likely to be used by adverse trial counsel
• Illustrate how to present complex valuation concepts in a simple, understandable testimony through direct
and cross-examination at trial
