Current Reform Initiatives and Their Impact on Physician Compensation

This session will discuss the initiatives associated with health care reform, such as the movement toward bundled payments, accountable care organization initiatives, increasing emphasis on outcomes data and the value-based payment modifier and their impact on physician compensation. This session also will discuss the migration of industry survey benchmark data, how to effectively incorporate quality and outcomes incentives into compensation, and the impact of the recent OIG opinion regarding clinical co-management agreement structure.
