Join this session for a hands-on discussion on unrelated business income. Participants will work through case studies centered around unrelated business income issues and participate in discussions on related topics.

• Attendees will participate in small group evaluations of unrelated business income scenarios, and group discussions of the scenarios.
• Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions and offer opinions on their approach to unrelated business income and weigh potential positions.

This interactive session will include a data driven review of the Form 990 from a PR perspective. Attendees will break up into small groups and analyse the Form 990 based on assigned roles such as media, donors, etc.

• To provide an opportunity for attendees to ask questions, interact with peers and comment on best practices when it comes to presenting organization information within the Form 990 filing

• 1) Provide auditors and auditees the information that they need to ensure findings identified in a Single Audit contain the required information necessary to report such findings and best practices for how to provide the appropriate context.
