Identification: ENGE2112

While we can’t celebrate our winners’ achievements in person, let’s come together virtually, where we will literally take to the ‘Floor’ virtual event platform, to acknowledge and applaud those shortlisted, finalists, and winners.

This platform is very interactive by way of joining a table for a drinks’ reception, socialising, and networking with likeminded professionals, ahead of the main event, also looking up individuals to chat.

John Young - famed TV news reporter, with more than 30 years’ experience at the BBC, will host the ceremony.

CIMA President Nick Jackson FCMA, CGMA, will be ‘present’ to give a welcome address to guests and nominees and, make virtual award presentations.

For each winner, our award category judges will be on hand to share what clinched it for each winner to receive the category award.

We can applaud the winners once they take to the stage, and send them emojis to show them support, as they deliver their thank you speech.

So, with drinks and nibbles at the ready, do join this prestigious event, to give the winners a most memorable evening.

We’re sure all nominees would appreciate and enjoy having family, friends, colleagues, clients, etc, along to their special evening.

  • What are the common, manual processes/challenges that finance teams face?
  • How can these processes be automated?
  • How finance teams can spend their time better - what additional (new) value they can provide to their organization

Driving Business Growth Through Automation

Is your company positioned to maximise growth even as market volatility continues? Or are you spending too much time focused on short-term, day-to-day thinking? As executives push for weekly or even daily reports and forecasts, finance teams struggle to make sense of massive data volumes, often lacking the tools necessary to quickly access accurate data and extract insights.

The result? Your best people spend too much time on repetitive, manual processes rather than driving value. In this panel discussion, we’ll address these challenges head-on by providing examples on how you can eliminate repetitive, manual processes, improve forecasting and drive growth through automation. You’ll learn:

  • What are the traits that separate higher-performing finance teams from the rest
  • How automation can help you eliminate upstream bottlenecks in finance processes to support more frequent and more precise reporting, planning and forecasting
  • How to leverage your financial and operational data to uncover insights to improve operations efficiency and identify new revenue opportunities.

By automating as many mundane, repetitive tasks as possible, you can make everyone on your team more efficient, so they complete tasks faster and more accurately, while strengthening financial controls and leaving them with more time to focus on higher value activities.

Today's Compliance Frontier - Tackling Modern-Day Slavery in Supply Chains

According to the International Labor Organization, nearly 21 million people across the globe are victims of forced labor, a form of enslavement that encompasses labor, child, and sexual exploitation.

Novel U.S. and international legal requirements, such as those found in the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act and Executive Order Strengthening Protections Against Trafficking in Persons in Federal Contracts, and the proposed federal Business Transparency in Trafficking and Slavery Act, the UK Modern Slavery Act, as well as coordinated consumer and advocacy group pressures, impose unique compliance and third-party due diligence obligations on the global business community.

This session will not only cover those key regulations that today's compliant (and consumer-facing, ESG-focused) companies must follow, but will also provide real-world, practical tips on what companies can do to steer clear of enforcement, regulatory, consumer group, and advocacy organization pressures.
