RSM Presents: Women Empowered: Gender Equity and Victory in Challenging Times (5pm BST)

Did you know that women are responsible for many of the attributes that make work teams and firm performance better? Intelligence, psychological safety and retention rises based on women’s expertise. Yet women’s levels of confidence rise more slowly than men and self-advocacy can create a “double-bind” which hinders career progress. Women make up 39% of global employment but account for 54% of overall job losses. Beyond potential job loss, women are also experiencing the pressure of childcare, racial inequality and mental-health challenges. During this course, we will take a look at data to illustrate the impact and the opportunity from the lens of different groups of women, including women of color. We will also site best methods to achieve resiliency and results - feeling empowered to accomplish, despite challenging times. Join RSM to discuss the current state of gender equality and what steps we can take to ensure progress for women continues.

We've heard how the Coronavirus pandemic has affected businesses and the workplace environment, now we touch on the bigger issue - family.

In this session, we'll discuss how the pandemic is affecting working parents. Our panelists will discuss the unique challenges and circumstances that each of the different age groups provide (based on personal experiences) in this ever evolving home schooling landscape, and provide key take aways that you can implement immediately to help relieve stress in the home. 

Then, join one of the many smaller group discussions (based on children ages) to discuss your own experiences and hear stories from your peers.
